Sunnbüel Freeride Trail

Experienced and seasoned riders also enjoy mountain biking in Kandersteg. With its various jumps and wooden features, the bike park begins at 1936 m (6350 ft.) above sea level and covers 739 downhill metres (2424 ft.) towards the cable car base station. Mountain bikes and their riders can easily reach the starting point by cable car.

Beneath Gehrihorn

Endurance bikers love this 36.4 km (23-mile) trail. Starting in Kandersteg, the route follows the river to Frutigen and Kien, where a steady climb takes you to below the imposing summit of Gehrihorn. The way back to the starting point is via Mitholz.
