Accompanied by local guides and hosts, the enjoyable tour takes you from the village to Tschentenalp and offers exciting insights into the culinary world of Adelboden.

Gastro Hike

Participants will be treated to nine stations featuring the best addresses of the region.

1. Hotel Steinmattli, Amuse-Bouche - Nevada Areal
Let the chef at Hotel Steinmattli take you on a tour of flavorful discovery – from oysters with shallot vinaigrette to vegan sweet potato quesadillas. Enjoy a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Réserve Exclusive to accompany this appetiser. 

2. Blausee, Cold Starter - Dorfplatz
Pickled organic salmon trout, served on a honey-mustard-dill cream with crispy fennel crispbread, awaits you at Blausee. A glass of Lucerne Sauvignon Blanc perfectly complements the fresh aromas.

3. Hotel & Restaurant Schermtanne, Warm Starter - Zofigerheim, Hörnliweg
Enjoy smoked pork belly on creamy celery puree and intense jus, accompanied by a spectacular view of the Stiegelschwand Valley. For vegetarians, a variation is available with Frutigen tofu. A robust Pinot Noir from Spiez accompanies either choice.

4. The Brecon, Soup - Waldlichtung Höreliweg
An exquisite white wine soup will warm you up at The Brecon. A powerful Valais Heida complements this course perfectly.

5. The Cambrian, Pasta Course - Alpengarten
Let Bryn Williams and his team spoil you with wild mushroom ravioli full of earthy intensity. A buttery Chardonnay Barrique from Schaffhausen rounds off this dish.

6. Unico, Seafood Course - Sami`s Mösergarage
At Unico by Alte Taverne, savour a grilled king prawn served on creamy corn polenta, refined with chilli and lime butter foam – an exciting interplay of spiciness and freshness. An elegant Riesling-Sylvaner from Spiez provides a harmonious finish.

7. Restaurant S-Zimmer, Main Course - between Mösergarage and Möserstation
The S-Zimmer specialises in braised veal cheeks served with chimichurri and summer truffles. A complex Egri Bikavér from Hungary accompanies this dish.

8. Adler Adelboden, Cheese Course - Möser Chairlift
An artfully presented selection of cheeses, accompanied by chutneys and bread, awaits at the Adler Adelboden. A fruity Bex-Chablais AOC from the Vaud region sets the right tone.

9. Restaurant Tschentenalp, Dessert - Restaurant Tschentenalp
A sumptuous dessert buffet awaits you at the Tschentenalp to round off your tour. Here, a Malvoisie du Valais "Le Primat" from the Valais will be served.
