Questions asked by hosts

How do I issue a Guest Card to my guests?

The Guest Card is issued after registering or reporting the arrival of guests via the Deskline Feratel WebClient. Login access can be requested from the Tourist Center.

What if I do not have all the necessary guest information?

We recommend sending the pre-check-in link (available in the WebClient) to your guests in advance or including it in their booking confirmation so they can register themselves. If this is not possible, try to obtain this information via chat or another booking portal communication channel.

What if the guests do not register themselves and I have no information?

We recommend placing the check-in link (in the form of a QR code) in the accommodation. A QR code can also be requested from the Tourist Center if you cannot create this yourself. With the QR code, guests can register on-site, and the host can issue the Guest Card.

Do I have to issue a Guest Card to every person in a group booking?

Yes. In the guest notification, this can be registered as a “travel group”. In this case, the group leader supplies the information. Afterwards, Guest Cards for the whole group can be sent to one person via CardSystem.

I am not based at the resort. How do my guests receive their Guest Cards?

Guest Cards can be sent by e-mail via CardSystem.

What if a guest does not have an email address or a smartphone?

The Guest Card can still be printed out from the CardSystem using Print@home. Print it on normal A4 paper and hand it over to the guest on arrival.

Should I print out Guest Cards?

We recommend printing out the Guest Card only when explicitly requested by a guest. The Guest Card can be sent to guests by e-mail via CardSystem. Guests can then store the Guest Card on their smartphones.

Can a Guest Card be printed out several times or used on a smartphone and as a paper printout?

We recommend printing out the Guest Card only when explicitly requested by a guest. The Guest Card can be sent to guests by e-mail via CardSystem. Guests can then store the Guest Card on their smartphones.

Do I have to issue a new Guest Card if a guest wants to stay longer than originally planned?

Yes. Currently, some participating partners still check Guest Cards visually, so an up-to-date card is necessary. The new departure date can be stored in the guest registration. Look under “Search card” in the Guest Card system and then resend or print out the new card.

The guest does not want a Guest Card. Do I still have to collect any personal information?

All overnight guests must be registered. If you have received insufficient information and no Guest Card is required, fill in the missing information such as name (Guest 1, Guest 2) or postcode + town with the details of your accommodation.

If guests do not want a Guest Card, do they pay less health resort tax?

No. The Guest Card is offered to guests as a bonus and “thank you” from the resort. There is no reduction or waiver of the health resort tax in such cases.
