From Adelboden, the trail first follows the Bonder Valley to Bonderalp. It then continues with a long ascent to the Bunderchrinde Pass at 2,385 metres above sea level, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the Bernese Oberland. At the top, a breathtaking panorama opens up over the Kandertal and the surrounding 3,000-metre peaks. The varied descent leads via Alpschelegrat and Allmenalp down to Kandersteg. Combining alpine terrain, runnable trails and spectacular scenery, this route is an unforgettable adventure for experienced trail runners.
Approach
Follow the A6 motorway from Bern towards Spiez and take the Spiez exit. Continue on the main road via Frutigen to Adelboden.
Public Transport
Travel to Adelboden by public transport or by car. The route ends in Kandersteg. From Kandersteg railway station, regular train services run to Frutigen with connecting buses to Adelboden. With the Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg Guest Card, the return journey within the valid travel area is free of charge.

Parts of this route lead through high alpine terrain and require good physical fitness, sure-footedness and experience on mountain trails. Tips
An early start is recommended. The cooler morning temperatures make the ascent more enjoyable, while the morning light creates a particularly beautiful atmosphere at the Bunderchrinde Pass. If you prefer a shorter route, you can take the cable car from Allmenalp down to Kandersteg.
