Between the Engstligenalp mountain hotel and Trieschthubel, follow the traditional Alpine cattle trail, which leads gently downhill through a colorful landscape of Alpine flowers and bushes. Soon you will hear the sound of rushing water—the first sign that the upper Engstligen Falls are not far away.
Cross the roaring mountain stream via a small bridge and feel the power of the water up close. The trail continues past Edelweiss-Hubel, where beautiful views of the surrounding mountains open up again and again. On the other side of the waterfall, you finally return to the Engstligenalp mountain hotel and the mountain station – a short but impressive circular hike that wonderfully combines the enjoyment of nature with an alpine atmosphere.

By car via Frutigen to Adelboden, Engstligenalp valley station.
