Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg

As soon as guests breathe in the fresh alpine air and gaze at the snow-covered mountains, waterfalls and lakes, they leave everyday life behind them. The Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg holiday region acts as a year-round playground – from summer hikes in the UNESCO World Heritage Site to winter sports in one of the best ski areas in Switzerland.

Regional Highlights

Snow sports enthusiasts can let off steam in the Adelboden-Lenk ski region on over 200 km (124 miles) of pistes in six sub-areas

Oeschinensee

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps and can be reached on foot or by gondola lift from Kandersteg.

This crystal-clear lake lies in the middle of a fairytale forest. Even more surprises await visitors to the 20-hectare (49-acre) natural park.

Engstlige Falls

Among the tallest waterfalls in Switzerland, this thundering natural spectacle can even be admired from Adelboden village.

Sibe Brünne and Simmen Falls

The magical springs of the Simme – the "Sibe Brünne" – seemingly gush out of nowhere from a limestone wall on the Rezliberg.
