Vogellisi’s Slope

Adelboden’s Vogellisi also invites you to have lots of winter fun in the Bernese Oberland. Named after the fabled bird lady and herbalist who inhabited the mountains around Adelboden, the Vogellisi’s slope between Hahnenmoos and Geils boasts eight fun features.

Geils Practice Park

Geils Practice Park in Adelboden is easy to reach via the Silleren cable car and ski bus from Bergläger. Children love the enclosure with its small ski lifts, inflatable figures and even a magic carpet. Popular mascot, Snowli, is often to be found here.

Oeschiland Beginners’ Paradise

This family-friendly practice area high above Kandersteg is the perfect place to gain confidence on skis. The Snow-Storm Ski School in Kandersteg is on hand to offer tips and tricks, and the mountain restaurant is a great place to take a break together.

Globi on Engstligenalp

You’ll feel right at home when Globi welcomes you to the Engstligenalp plateau. At Globi Kinderland, there is not only plenty of sunshine but also lots of fun, including the Globi Trail with its gentle bumps and gateways.

Elsigen SnowKidsPark

Up and down and back and forth. With its two fun slopes, this kids’ park in the Frutigen ski area has many fun features. From the tunnel to the photo point, kids will find the best turns and jumps for an unforgettable day in the snow.

Snowtubing on Engstligenalp

High above Adelboden, it’s not just skis and snowboards that whizz down the slopes but air-filled tyres. Hurtling across the snow-covered landscape in safe lanes on bulging tubes promises a rapid descent and guaranteed adrenaline rush.

Tobogganing at Ramslauenen

If the sun terrace at Berghaus Ramslauenen isn’t tempting enough, the 7 km (4.3 mile) toboggan run down to the base station of the chair lift at Kiental may persuade you. The wide bends take you through wintry forests and across white pastures for a 20 minute thrill ride. Maybe that coffee and cake can wait a little longer.

Betelberg Family Paradise

Flat, wide pistes and great facilities – at Kinderland Stoss in Lenk, our youngest guests really come into their own. The Swiss Snow Kids Village offers an introduction to skiing, and Alphüttli Stoss also provides professional supervision outside of lesson times.

BoulderSchüür Lenk

No sunshine forecast today? This boulder climbing hall is just a five-minute walk from the village of Lenk. Beside the River Simme, climbing enthusiasts will find 270 square metres of wall space for a no-rope workout. Beginners and experienced boulderers alike will quickly find a challenge to suit them.
