Cable cars lead not only to Lake Oeschinen but also directly to several children's ski lifts.
For beginners under 6 years old, these are free of charge. Competent ski instructors are also on hand. Small, manageable, and safe. The beginner's paradise Oeschiland Kandersteg, right next to the mountain station, offers several ski slopes and a toboggan run for the little ones. The ski area is ideal for beginners. There is also a toboggan zone! After descending with skis or a sled, one of two magic carpets safely transports you back up. Additionally, a children's tow lift, play figures, and other play equipment provide variety.
At the mountain station, there is a small sled rental. A limited number of children's sleds are available. Please check in at the Bergstübli Bistro (restaurant).
