With the Betelberg gondola, hikers conveniently reach the starting point of the hike, Leiterli, located at just under 2,000 m above sea level. The path leads more or less flat past numerous pink blooming alpine roses in the direction of Gryden. The route crosses the Gryden to the Trüttlisberg Pass. This bizarre crater landscape is an impressive natural spectacle. The view here to the 3,000-meter peaks of the Simmental and Saanenland with Wildstrubel and Wildhorn is particularly beautiful. A lovely high-altitude path crosses the grassy slope of the Lauenenhorn. From the Turnelsattel, it goes over stones and rocks, along the partly exposed ridge towards the Wasserngrat mountain station.
With the chairlift, it is a relaxing ride down to the valley. The PostBus takes hikers to Gstaad, and the train from Gstaad returns to Lenk.
