To enjoy the vista, the view, a few stops must be made on this trail running loop route, for better or worse. From the starting point at the middle station of the 10-person Stand-Xpress Metsch gondola, the first panoramic view is worthwhile. From here, the hiking trail leads to the first stop, the Metschore. Here the view drifts to the nearby and impressively imposing Wildstrubel massif and the Plaine Morte plateau glacier. Behind this entire mountain range lies already the Valais. Now it's a steep climb along the mountain ridge to Metschstand. A technical training for the ascent with poles and the mountain scenery in the corner of your eye. The view at the highest point of the route, Metschstand, is to be enjoyed once again before a change of direction comes and the path leads to the next viewpoint, the Brenggen reservoir. Here a touch of the Caribbean appears in the turquoise shimmering water, yet the lake is surrounded by the Simmental mountains. Now it's the last few altitude meters downhill past managed alpine farms back to the middle station.
Observe the operating times of the Stand-Xpress gondola.
