A panoramic path leads from the west flank of the Elsighorn down a well-maintained natural road to Frutigen. You can comfortably reach Elsigenalp Frutigen by aerial cableway. The flower paradise located at 2000 m above sea level is home to various animal species and offers varied and well-marked hiking trails.
The panoramic path to Frutigen begins below the Elsighorn, where hikers are rewarded with a spectacular view over the trench landscape of the opposite Frutig-Spissen. Further down, on the Trute, there is a picnic area with a fireplace in a prime vantage point overlooking the Frutig and Kandertal valleys. Refreshed, you can then tackle the last stretch of the path to Frutigen.
Public Transport
Arrival:
By BLS to Frutigen, then by bus towards Adelboden to Kirche Achseten, bus to Elsigbach, then by aerial cableway to Elsigenalp. The bus ride Achseten – Elsigbach requires a reservation.
Return journey:
By BLS from Frutigen
