The route starts from the Griesalp hotel center and first climbs up to the Golderli mountain hut. Across open terrain it continues to the Steineberg. Through a small forest area, you reach the vicinity of the Gamchibach, which leads us to Bundstäg. On the opposite side of the stream, you climb via alp huts and across snowfields into the Lerchböde area. From the highest point of the route, you can enjoy a great view of the Kiental mountain world. The descent to Griesalp takes place via an alp road through the forest to Dündenessli and down to Griesalp. Between Bundstäg and Dündenessli, the route can be shortened by one kilometer. The route is also signposted (blue).
Note: Griesalp is located in an avalanche-prone area. Therefore, the hazard situation must be taken into account. The snowshoe route can be closed at short notice. Also note that private traffic in winter is only possible up to below the Griesschlucht. The ascent via the road must be planned in the route!
