The Cholerenschlucht not only features impressive waterfalls but also a variety of water mills and polished rocks. The trip to the Cholerenschlucht can be ideally combined with a visit to the Pochtenkessel. There, the Engstlige and the Otterebach flow together in a deep rock funnel. And the Jungbrunnen invites you to bathe.

Parking
Free parking is available at the Tregel parking lot.
Directions
Starting at the bus stop/parking lot "Tregel", after a 15-minute walk you reach the gorge. After passing through the gorge, the hiking trail leads past the impressive Pochtenkessel (where the Engstlige and the Otterebach flow together in a deep rock funnel) back to the starting point, which you reach after a final short ascent.

Path well prepared. Where available, exposed spots are very well secured. Risk of falling can largely be excluded with normal behavior.
Requirements
None, also suitable with sneakers. Orientation is easy, usually possible even without a map.
