Üschenen
It was here in the 1970s that well protected multipitch routes were first developed and climbed. Top climbers also have lots to do in Ueschenen. Besides compelling and challenging slab routes, spectacular roof climbs like on Filidor Pfeiler on the finest limestone are also available. New routes are being put up even to this day. The best climbing days are often in the fall when the surrounding mountain tops already have a skiff of snow contrasting beautifully with the fall colors. Add the sun warmed rock and it is magic!
