  • Travel arrangements

    Arrival by train: Travel by train to Frutigen Bahnhof, and from the station, take the AFA bus towards Adelboden until "Achseten Kirche."

    Inform the bus driver about your travel destination. Change in Achseten and continue to "Elsigbach"
    inform the driver that you want to go to Höchst. He will take you directly to our house upon request.
    In winter: In Frutigen, get on the Kander-Reisen bus towards Elsigen and Metschalp, which will bring you directly to our entrance.

    Arrival by car: You can reach the Berggasthaus Höchst easily by car in both summer and winter. Drive from Frutigen towards Adelboden. Then take the turnoff for "Elsigbach," which is signposted in Achseten. You can drive right up to the Berggasthaus Höchst. Guest parking is available and free of charge.
