A cozy group house for groups of 20 to 64 people. An old house dating from 1905, but very suitable for school camps, club trips, and family groups. Each group stays alone in the house. Behind the house, there is a large, almost enclosed garden with table tennis and a barbecue area. The parking lot has enough space for about 8 cars.
The house has 13 bedrooms on 3 floors. All rooms have a sink and bunk beds. Some rooms also have a single bed. There are 2 toilets on each floor and an extra washroom with large sinks on the first and second floors. The showers and kitchen are located in the basement. There are 5 shower cubicles next to each other in the basement and 1 separate (ladder) shower in the attic.
The kitchen is equipped for large groups with a commercial stove, tilting kettle, steamer/oven, pizza oven, large refrigerator, freezer, commercial dishwasher, and grill plate. It has a separate storage cellar.
The house has WiFi and a large TV with a connection for a laptop and a DVD player. There is a table tennis table on the third floor, next to a cozy sofa corner.
The ski room has space for drying equipment or storing items that need to be locked away (ski equipment, sleds, or bicycles).
The vacation home is located on the outskirts of Kandersteg, towards the Sunnbüel gondola lift. Kandersteg is very easy to reach by train. It is a 30-minute walk from the train station to the house. Once there, you can use the bus with your guest card. The bus stop in front of the house is called Pfadizentrum.
Self-catering
Please bring your own: Duvets/sleeping bags, pillowcases, slippers, towels, kitchen linen, toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, and possibly a projector/laptop.
