Cosy mountain hotel 9 km from Kandersteg, in Selden in the Gasterntal valley, accessible on foot, by car or bus. Particulary beautiful surroundings with playground. Cosy restaurant with fireplace. Starting point for hikes to the Lötschenpass and Kanderfirm. Rooms and dormitories. open from mid-May to mid-October, relax on the sun terrace and use the barbecue facilities. On the playground of the accommodation there is the possibility of climbing.

  • Travel arrangements

    From Kandersteg you can reach us on foot, by car or by bus. On the website of Kandersteg Tourism you will find a detailed description of how to get to Kandersteg.

    On foot:

    The hike from Kandersteg station to us takes about 2h30. Avoid the road and use the well-kept hiking trails.

    PW: 

     Subject to approval (Fr. 15. --). Approval machine at the beginning of the Gasterntalstrasse. Permits are also available from Kandersteg Tourismus, Künzi Treffpunkt and Restaurant Alpstübli (Sunnbühlbahn), or from us. The Gasterntalstrasse is a narrow mountain road where crossing is not possible everywhere. Through the narrow Klus is valid 24 hours one-way traffic.

    Bus:

    If you have tired feet, the bus service from Kandersteg railway station will provide you with valuable services. Seat reservations essential! Operation from June to September.
