Tips for the Audience
The start takes place at the Waldhotel Doldenhorn. There are three zones available to follow the race – these are best accessed on foot or by bicycle. Running alongside the creek, crossing the meadows, and touching the ducks is reserved for the helpers.

Refreshments
Indulge in a refreshment at the racecourse at Hotel Des Alpes or enjoy something nice in the finish area at Restaurant Schweizerhof.

3rd Start Final, approx. 1.00 p.m.
Finish, each at the Restaurant Schweizerhof with festival catering

Race procedure

• Mass start of the ducks in front of the Waldhotel Doldenhorn
• The best 100 ducks per heat go to the final
• Award ceremony after the final at the Restaurant Schweizerhof approx. 2.30 p.m.

“Duck Tax” for a good cause
A license for a racing duck is available for CHF 10 at the Tourist Center Kandersteg. All proceeds from the race this year will go 100% to the benefit of the “Freude herrscht” Foundation.
Visitors can also get involved in the finish area for a good cause.
The guild of chefs will also be participating with Risotto Day and collecting funds.
