We take the cable car to Sunnbüel (1936 m above sea level). The circular hike in the high valley takes us through an impressive mountain landscape without significant ascents. We visit the larch forest and encounter many herbs and alpine flowers along the way. Then, the cable car brings us back to the valley, and we explore the lower plant world in the valley floor on our way back to Kandersteg train station. Due to the different altitude levels, we can get to know a wide variety of plants. This day excursion requires hiking ability, but we will be moving on good paths and without significant ascents and descents.
The high valley at Sunnbüel is geographically the access point to the Gemmi Pass.

What to bring: Hiking boots, rain protection, day backpack, water bottle, sun protection, snacks. If available, magnifying glass, binoculars.
