Rules

1. The ducks may only be handled by the helpers
2. The ducks may only be observed in the three designated zones
3. Running along the Irfig and crossing the meadows is prohibited

Refreshments

Treat yourself to a cold drink at the racetrack at the Hotel Des Alpes or
enjoy a grilled sausage, cold drinks, and much more in the finish area at Restaurant Schweizerhof.

The guild chefs create a fine risotto for a good cause.

All proceeds from this year's race will benefit the Wunderlampe Foundation.
Donate in the finish area for a good cause as well.

IMPORTANT: We recommend following the race on foot or by bike.

Have fun!

Start at the Waldhotel Doldenhorn

- First start at 10:00 AM (time according to racing license)

- Second start at 11:00 AM (time according to racing license)

- Final approximately at 1:00 PM

Finish at the Restaurant Schweizerhof with festival economy

Race Schedule

- Mass start of the ducks in front of the Waldhotel Doldenhorn

- The best 50 ducks per heat qualify for the final

- Award ceremony after the final at the Restaurant Schweizerhof approximately at 2:30 PM

The race can be followed via livestream at the Restaurant Schweizerhof.

Framework Program

Autumn concert by the Kandersteg music society
under the direction of Julia Packmor
2:30 PM face painting at the Schweizerhof
4:00 PM jubilee serenades at the retirement home
5:00 PM march music to the community hall
5:30 - 6:00 PM children's show "Lion King" for families
Afterwards dinner (mixed salad, lasagna, cake buffet)
with entertainment by the music formation Flex Brass from Blatten, Lötschental
8:30 PM "Lion King Show" and concert
(doors open at 8:00 PM)
From 10:00 PM bar operation and cozy get-together with Flex Brass

A duck can be rented for a Duck Tax of CHF 10.00 at the Tourist Center Kandersteg.
