Cattle Descent Engstligenalp

For safety reasons and for the wellbeing of the animals, the hiking trail is closed during the Alpabzug.

b 6 a.m. – Start of cable car operation
The descent begins early in the morning. Starting at 6 a.m., the team of Engstligenalp mountain railways will take you comfortably to the alp by gondola.

from 6 a.m. – Coffee and croissants at the mountain hotel
The Engstligenalp mountain hotel welcomes early risers with coffee & croissants.

7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. – Breakfast at the mountain hotel
The Engstligenalp mountain hotel invites hungry guests to breakfast; a table reservation is recommended.
