The music of Áed is a multi-layered blend of Celtic roots and modern influences – characterized by powerful violin playing, hypnotic rhythms, and harmonized vocals. Ilenia Ballacchino's warm voice and the penetrating sounds of the Shruti box create an almost ceremonial atmosphere, complemented by the driving rhythms of the Bodhrán. Helen Maier's powerful fiddle playing lends the melodies a raw, emotional depth. Jonas Künzli's bass provides a warm, pulsing foundation that carries the melodies, while Raoul Morat's guitar playing elegantly balances between driving power and gentle fragility.

In the cultural winter, we open our bistro at 1:30 PM. You can dine with us in the bistro before or after the concerts. There will be no service during the concerts. We look forward to your visit.

Since the number of seats in our theater hall is limited, we recommend that you reserve seats in advance.

Seat reservations

You can easily travel to our concerts by public transport. After the concert, the Postbus leaves directly in front of the Alpine Theatre at 18:07 in the direction of Reichenbach. There you have connections to Spiez/Bern and Frutigen.
