Driven by longing for distant and familiar places, Viertaktmotor rattles through the bog of New Swiss folk music. Restless and tireless, they keep an eye out for blooming dry meadows, the legendary alpine glow, but also for concrete deserts and spray-painted city walls. Viertaktmotor explores the question of how to create folk music in this global, fast-paced world. With subtle music and archetypically wild playfulness, they provide a melodious answer rooted in tradition, welcoming the future with open arms.

In the cultural winter, we open our bistro at 1:30 PM. You can dine with us in the bistro before or after the concerts. There will be no service during the concerts. We look forward to your visit.

Since the number of seats in our theater hall is limited, we recommend that you reserve seats in advance.

Seat reservations

You can easily travel to our concerts by public transport. After the concert, the Postbus leaves directly in front of the Alpine Theatre at 18:07 in the direction of Reichenbach. There you have connections to Spiez/Bern and Frutigen.
