Monk to Moser
In traditional "Altfrentscher formation" (violin, dulcimer, double bass), they surprise with bold connections between fiddle music and improvisation.
They play with unusual sounds in the tension field between the quirky jazz of Thelonious Monk and classical Appenzeller fiddle music, shaped by musician families like the Mosers or Alders. In doing so, they traverse all sorts of inviting yet untraveled areas – a musical embarkation.
