Julian von Flüe's creativity is different from the others. The music school was not his favorite place. Playing "properly" according to sheet music did not suit him – on the contrary. Von Flüe grew up in a very musical environment. His father, Roland, is a well-known jazz musician and lecturer. For Julian, making music has always been about discovery and literally about "playing." He essentially taught himself his skills. He "earned" his music.
After various line-ups in the first years, he founded his trio about five years ago after finding his two ideal musical partners: Marc Scheidegger on guitar and Matthias Abächerli on bass. Since then, they have been performing everywhere and living their dream. "Only the concert venues could be bigger; otherwise, I am happy," laughs Julian, looking forward to everything that is to come.
