On 22 June, the cattle drive up to Engstligenalp will take place in Adelboden. As they make their way up the steep and rocky path to the summer pastures, the 500 animals follow the experienced herdsmen and their helpers.
Arrival Information
Additional buses operate between Adelboden, Post and Adelboden, Unter dem Birg (cable car valley station). Departure times from Adelboden Post are at 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
Programm
The cattle drive starts at 05:00 AM.
The cable car operates from 05:00 AM.
From 06:00 AM, the Berghotel Engstligenalp and the Raclette hut offer an Alpine brunch.

Adults: CHF 36 (excluding cable car)
Children: CHF 18 (excluding cable car)
Wristbands can be purchased at the valley station.
Hint / Advice
For safety reasons and the well-being of the animals, the hiking trail will be closed during the cattle drive.
