"Aabesitz" (Village Festival)

This event has already taken place.
Guests and locals meet at the "Aabesitz" for a cosy get-together along the traffic-free village street. Lots of food and drink, fun and games and, last but not least, performances by the local associations and traditional folk bands will provide entertainment and enjoyment.
Important information
On Fridays, July 24 and 31, as well as August 7, 2026, the village street will be closed to motorized traffic from 6.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. due to the Aabesitz. A marked detour will be available for passenger cars without trailers. Please follow the instructions of the traffic personnel.

Activities
At the activities, the Ludothek Adelboden offers face painting for children. The small caliber shooters Adelboden are represented with small caliber shooting, and the Engstligenalp cable cars AG provide an additional offer with Globi. Also present are the World Cup Adelboden with Chueni and the Vogellisiberg with Vogellisi.
