"Aabesitz" (Village Festival)

Guests and locals meet at the "Aabesitz" for a cosy get-together along the traffic-free village street. Lots of food and drink, fun and games and, last but not least, performances by the local associations and traditional folk bands will provide entertainment and enjoyment.
Important information
On Fridays, July 24 and 31, as well as August 7, 2026, the village street will be closed to motorized traffic from 6.00 p.m. to 12.00 a.m. due to the Aabesitz. A marked detour will be available for passenger cars without trailers. Please follow the instructions of the traffic personnel.

Activities
In the activities, the Ludothek Adelboden offers face painting for children. The Small Caliber Shooters Adelboden are present with small caliber shooting, and the Engstligenalp AG cable cars provide another offering with Globi. Also included are the World Cup Adelboden with Chueni and the Vogellisiberg with Vogellisi.
