100 Jahre Wyssen -Jubiläumsfest

What began in 1926 as a bold idea of a mountain farmer's son in the Bernese Oberland is now an international success story. In 2026, we will celebrate 100 years of Wyssen. For the anniversary, we will open the doors to our company premises on November 14, 2026 so you can experience this pioneering spirit up close. From the inauguration of our new Hall D, to historical insights, a film premiere, and a children's corner, there is something for everyone.

The name Wyssen is now associated worldwide with innovative cable car systems and technical pioneering work. What started over a hundred years ago in the Bernese Oberland has developed into an internationally active company, whose products are in use in many countries. The history of Wyssen cable cars is characterized by inventiveness, entrepreneurship, and a close connection to the mountain world.
