The route starts in Frutigen and follows the Engstligen River towards Hohstalde. Easy natural paths and short trail sections lead to the Hohstalde Suspension Bridge, the highlight of the run. Suspended high above the valley, the bridge offers breathtaking views of the river below and the surrounding mountain landscape.
The return route follows a varied mix of trails and paths back to Frutigen. Combining beautiful scenery, moderate elevation gain, and the spectacular bridge crossing, this loop is an ideal choice for a relaxed trail run or an enjoyable outing between bigger adventures.

Follow the A6 motorway to Spiez, then continue through the Kandertal Valley to Frutigen.
