Wonderful winter circular route at Leiterli. From the Betelberg/Leiterli mountain station, you reach the highest point of Leiterli within a few minutes. The 360° panoramic view of the snow-covered Bernese Alps is impressive and irresistibly invites you to take the first break. The path gently descends further towards Steinstoss, the turning point of the route. In summer, the wonderful hiking trail through the impressive Gryden begins here. In winter this area is closed for safety reasons. We suggest turning left and hiking along the southern Leiterli slope back into the Agematte area. Away from slopes, ski and toboggan runs, you can enjoy the vast winter landscape undisturbed. At Agematte, the path back to the mountain station and the wonderful sun terrace of the mountain restaurant (10 min) is not far. Those who wish can choose the winter hiking trail down to the middle station Stoss (50 min).
Public Transport
Outbound and return journey: By train via Zweisimmen to Lenk. From there by local bus or on foot (15 min) to the valley station of the Betelberg cable car. The winter hiking trail starts at the mountain station.
