The smarTail Water Trail - Trail 1 circular route can be explored from mid-June. To access the trail, simply scan the respective QR code for free. Link: SmarTrail – then participants can hike or stroll with a digital map to various points in the region. The active smartphone GPS does the rest: at the destination, entertaining details or exciting puzzles are automatically displayed on the screen.
Approach
By car via Frutigen to Adelboden, Engstligenalp valley station.
Public Transport
From Frutigen by bus to Adelboden, Unter dem Birg.
Parking
Free parking is available at the Engstligenalp valley station.
Equipment
- The smartphone must have an internet connection.
- The GPS tracking function of the smartphone must be activated.
- The smartphone will be used intensively; a fully charged battery or, if necessary, a power bank is advantageous.
- We recommend weather-appropriate clothing (sun or rain protection) and good footwear for the trail.
