Those seeking a Swiss picture-postcard world are right on the Via Alpina. In 20 daily stages, it leads once across the northern Alps, along many highlights of Switzerland. Undoubtedly, the stage from Griesalp to Kandersteg with the popular Blüemlisalp hut and the Oeschinen Lake belongs to the royal stages.

The route begins in the fairy tale world on the Griesalp at the end of Kiental and leads in seven hours over the Bundalp to the Hohtürli pass height up to the Oeschinen Lake.

The pass path runs along the seam between glacier world and green pre-Alps and offers a lot of variety. Those who stay overnight in the SAC Blüemlisalp hut get as a bonus the absolute high mountain experience.
