In less than two hours, hikers can experience on this well-maintained mule track towards Engstligenalp how cows, goats, and herdsmen feel during the alpine ascent. But the nearby, roaring waters of the Engstligen Falls also make this route unique.

Free parking spaces are available at the Engstligenalp valley station.

Directions

The hiking trail is closed from Monday, October 20, 2025, due to ice, rockfall, and avalanche danger as a result of the winter closure.
