In a leisurely hour and a half, this route leads down about 300 meters in altitude from Tschentenalp. Here the snowshoes are unstrapped, because the way back is comfortable with the chairlift Möser.

Approach

The Tschentenalp valley station is located in the center of Adelboden. From the parking garage to the valley station it is only about 100 meters.

Public Transport

By train to Frutigen and from there by bus to the stop Adelboden Post, 5 minutes walk to the valley station Tschentenalp. With the Tschenten mountain railroad up to Tschentenalp.

Equipment

From telescopic poles to avalanche shovels - well prepared, you're better off heading for the trail. Professional snowshoe equipment can also be rented in various sports shops in the destination.

Tips

2 or 8 kilometres, across the plateau or the valley floor: The choice of winter hiking trails is large in Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg. Even experienced outdoor walkers will still find enough new territory to explore.
