From the Allmenalp mountain station, the trail first heads west through a picturesque alpine valley. This is followed by a steep but well-maintained ascent up to the summit of Bunderspitz.
At the top, a stunning panorama awaits before the descent leads back towards Kandersteg. The varied downhill section offers plenty of trail-running enjoyment.
An ideal route for experienced trail runners looking to combine a sporty challenge with breathtaking views.
Approach
By car via Spiez - Frutigen or by car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
South of the Lötschberg, north of the Kander Valley. For this point between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.), an hourly train service is in operation – this is an ideal meeting point for many tours.
Parking
The destination has been decided, and so has the parking space - on this map, drivers can quickly and easily find the right parking option in the Oberland municipality. Well then: engine off, running shoes on!
Safety Instructions
