From the Sunnbüel mountain station, you hike northwards along the ridge gently downhill towards Stock. Through bushes and open forest, you reach the uniquely beautiful viewpoint Stock. Here you are rewarded with a wonderful panoramic view of the Gasteretal valley and the village of Kandersteg. The return route from Stock leads via the "Wintertäli," which lives up to its name, always uphill towards the Spiezerhütte hut. Afterwards, it is not far back to the starting point at the Sunnbüel mountain station.
