Take the Elsigenalp cable car uphill to the approximately one-hour circular hike. Along the way, the highlight of the walk is the equally romantic and idyllic Little Elsigsee.
Approach
Leave the A6 / A8 highway at the Spiez exit towards “Kandersteg / car shuttle”. Continue driving to Reichenbach and Frutigen. In Frutigen, exit the bypass at “Frutigen South” towards Adelboden until you reach Achseten. Follow the signpost “Elsigbach” in Achseten and turn left immediately after the second bridge towards Elsigbach.

Free car parking at the valley station of the aerial cableway and at the Hochst mountain inn on Metsch.

Tips
Accessible with a stroller. At the idyllic mountain lake, fireplaces are set up. Firewood is available.
