Near the Rohrbach bus stop, the spectacular 153-meter-long Hostalde suspension bridge spans the Engstlige river, providing a real highlight right at the start. After crossing the bridge, the cozy Beizli restaurant nearby (closed on Mondays) invites you to take a refreshing break before continuing downhill. The subsequent hike down to Frutigen takes a good two hours and leads through a varied landscape, accompanied by the sound of rushing water and beautiful views.

By bus to Rohrbach, then hiking trail along the Engstligen to the suspension bridge. Continue along the unique wooden sculpture trail to Frutigen. Return from Frutigen by bus.
