The 14 km long panorama trail leads cross-country skiers past various panoramic points from the Nordic Arena to the viewpoint on the Höhwald, scout center, and even towards the valley station Sunnbüel and back to the starting point of the cross-country skiing center at Muggeseeli/Des Alpes.
Please note that the "Höh" route is available for shared use for cross-country skiing, hiking, horseback riding, and snowshoe running! Maintenance by the cross-country center Kandersteg, after the creation of the cross-country trails in the valley floor (no daily preparation).
Approach
By car via Spiez - Frutigen or the car shuttle train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.

Arrival at Kandersteg train station
South of Lötschberg, north of the Kandertal: For this station between Brig (38 min) and Bern (61 min) there is an hourly service – an ideal base for many excursions.

The destination is fixed, the parking spot as well – on this map vehicle drivers quickly and easily find the suitable parking option in the Oberland community. So then: engine off, cross-country ski boot on!

Safety Instructions
Please note that you are fundamentally on your own responsibility while out! The trail association does not operate its own rescue system and does not carry out a final piste check as is usual in alpine ski areas. Also observe the SOS info signs as well as the board of behavior rules at the cross-country center.
Equipment
Hat, gloves, sunglasses: Reliable equipment is especially important on the trails. What is the best clothing? Ask our specialists in the numerous sports shops of the destination.
