Starting from the village centre of Adelboden, the Panorama Trail Run begins with a pleasant ascent towards Höreli. After just a few minutes, impressive views open up over the Niesen mountain range and the surrounding peaks. The varied route follows natural paths and narrow trails above the village, passing the lovingly designed alpine garden. The trail then continues along gently rolling paths to the Taubenfels viewpoint, where a spectacular panorama awaits over Adelboden as well as the Lohner and Wildstrubel mountains. The route then leads back to Adelboden via Schermtanne and Rehärti.
Approach
From Bern, follow the A6 motorway towards Thun/Interlaken. Take the "Spiez" exit and continue via Frutigen to Adelboden.
Public Transport
Up to the alp or down to Frutigen? The bus station in the village centre connects the Engstligtal valley during the day and at night with the Moonliner. The mountain village is just 90 minutes from the capital city.

Tips
A short break at the alpine garden on Höreli as well as at the viewpoints of Hörnli and Taubenfels is especially worthwhile. In the early morning or towards the evening, the light over the Engstligen Valley is particularly atmospheric.
