The route starts with a 900 m ascent, first on an asphalt road up to the Metsch, then on gravel and alpine roads further up to Guetfläck. The view of the Simmental valley end becomes more and more impressive with the altitude gained. The panorama becomes truly spectacular when the singletrail to Wengibärgli is taken under the tires. The Wildstrubel and Ammertehore seem within reach. The trail winds along the elevation through the terrain up to Alp Wengibärgli. This singletrail section is easily rideable for experienced bikers, but the path is narrow and exposed at the beginning. Here it is advisable to push the bike briefly. This is technically the most difficult passage of the route. On an alpine road it goes rapidly down to Rezliberg. Near Siebenbrunnen, the source of the Simme, awaits the second ascent of the route to Langermatte. The steep roughly 450 m are challenging but rewarded with a unique view towards Iffighore and Betelberg. After a break at the mountain inn, the descent follows on a rough alpine road until the well-developed Iffigstrasse near Ritzdole is reached, which leads through Pöschenried down to Lenk.
