With the Stand-Xpress gondola lift you comfortably reach the starting point of the hike at Metschstand at 2100 m above sea level. With the impressive Wildstrubel massif in view, the Metschstand mountain restaurant offers a coffee to start the route. The hike begins leisurely towards Luegli. Here the view opens to the Bütschi side valley, which is crossed in order to then reach Höchsthore via the Troneggrat. Then it continues comfortably with the chairlift from Höchst down into Bergläger and on the other side back up with the gondola lift to the Sillerebüel mountain station. Here, another stop at the Restaurant Sillerenbühl is recommended.
At Sillerebüel, the route to the Hahnenmoos Pass follows the panorama high trail. In summer, the area around the Hahnenmoos Pass is a mecca for model sailplane flyers. Those who want to sit on a sun terrace again can do so at the Hahnenmoos mountain hotel. The last section of the hike leads past the turquoise shimmering Brenggen reservoir back to the Metschstand mountain station.
Approach
By car via Zweisimmen to Lenk. At the roundabout in the town center go straight ahead and drive to the valley station Stand-Xpress.

Accessible by train and bus. Timetable: SBB
By train via Zweisimmen to Lenk. On foot or by local bus to the valley station Stand-Xpress, bus stop Metschbahnen.
Parking
Adequate free parking spaces at the valley station of the Stand-Xpress.
