First, you ascend about 1000 meters with the Stand-Xpress to an altitude of 2100 m above sea level. The Metschstand is the starting point for various hikes. This one leads us over the alpine route called Aeugi path to Ammertenspitz. The view from 2613 m above sea level is, of course, fantastic. Up here the environment is rough and rocky. The descent first leads through the wild romantic Ammertetal. At first in a rocky area, then it becomes greener and you might encounter sheep. But don't be surprised if you are alone - this mountain path is not mainstream - but it is beautiful. Those who still have energy at Rezliberg can make a detour to the Sibe Brünne, the source of the Simme. Otherwise, continue directly down to the valley to the Simmenfälle. The path repeatedly comes close to the Simme and once you reach the bottom, you can admire the Simmenfälle in all their glory.
