The start of this winter hike is easily reached via the Standexpress gondola lift to the Metsch middle station. The view of Lenk and the surrounding mountains is always excellent throughout the hike. To the south you can see the end of the Simmental valley, to the west the Betelberg ski area and to the north St. Stephan with the Spilgerten.
