The hike alternates between forest and open terrain. The pastures at Metsch are managed by alpine farms in summer, and you may be able to buy alpine cheese produced on site at an alp. The Bühlberg is considered the sunny terrace of Lenk, especially the sunsets are magnificent. The terrace of the Bühlberg Restaurant is inviting for a rest.
The bus takes you from the village to the valley station of the Stand-Xpress (Metschbahnen stop) or you can also walk this section. A bus runs from Bühlberg down to the village.

Public Transport
Take the train to Lenk. Then continue by bus to the Metschbahnen stop. Timetable SBB.
Parking
In summer, there are free parking spaces in the village of Lenk.
