The route starts at Lenk train station, from where it leads north along the valley floor to Schadauli. Schadauli is the turning point of the route, which climbs briefly to the Reka Center before mostly descending flat back to the village of Lenk. On the return trip towards Lenk, the view of the Lenk mountains is magnificent.

Directions
The route starts on an asphalt road, but shortly afterwards turns left off the road. It continues over the unmanned railway crossing to the Boden train stop. From here, a path on the left leads over fields and woods to Schadauli. The return route is asphalted, but only light traffic is expected.

Good footwear and warm clothing are always advantageous for a winter walk.
