The start of this hike is at the Tourist Center in Lenk. From here, the route first leads past the Wallbach adventure pool, over the Wallbach Bridge into Furenstrasse. Here the path branches right towards the Simme, where the actual winter hiking trail begins away from the roads. Past the Boden train stop, the path goes over fields and forest to Schadauli. Until Matten, a small lane is followed.

From Spiez via Simmentalstrasse to Lenk.

By train to Lenk station.

Free parking at the station or market square.
Directions
This winter hike leads over prepared snow and cleared paths away from road traffic. Depending on snow conditions and temperature, snow, ice, or slush can be expected in the valley floor.
Equipment
Good waterproof footwear is especially advantageous in thawing weather.
