The Betelberg gondola lift takes you up to Leiterli at just under 2000 m above sea level. The tour begins with a descent, first along the ski lift and then on to the Betelberg high-altitude trail on the winter hiking trail. Now the route leads away from prepared and signposted paths through untouched terrain. The route is mostly flat over the Haslerberg towards the end of the tour, the Tube. The pleasant ascent begins below the crater landscape of the Gryden, with only the last few meters up to the Tube being somewhat steeper. The panorama at the top of the Tube (2107 m above sea level) of the surrounding Simmental and Saanenland mountains is magnificent. Lauenenhorn, Laaglehorn and, in the distance, the Albristhorn and Wildstrubel line up with many other peaks all around.

After a well-earned break, we take the same route back to the Leiterli.
