With the Betelberg gondola you go from Lenk to the mountain station Leiterli at almost 2000 m above sea level, where the hike begins. The very first meters of the hike promise a unique natural spectacle. Passing by pink blooming alpine roses, the path leads more or less flat towards Gryden. The Gryden are a bizarre crater landscape formed from gypsum rock, which alone is worth a trip. The view during the ascent to the white peaks of the Wildstrubel massif towards Stüblenipass is magnificent. The pass lies on the municipal border between Lenk and Lauenen. Down to Lauenen you go on hiking paths and small roads. The wonderful view of the Saanenland mountains is a constant companion.
