Following the marked circular route towards "Läger", you will reach the frozen and dreamy Oeschinensee in about 45 minutes. The way back leads through the forest via the two ski slopes to the mountain station of the Oeschinen gondola.
The footpath from the lake to the village is closed in winter!

Approach

By car via Spiez - Frutigen or by the car shuttle train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.

Public Transport

South of Lötschberg, north of the Kandertal: For this train station between Brig (38 min) and Bern (61 min), there is an hourly service – an ideal base for many excursions.

Parking
