Following the signposted circular trail in the direction of "Läger", you will reach the frozen and dreamlike Oeschinensee lake in around 45 minutes. The path leads back through the forest over the two ski slopes to the mountain station of the Oeschinen gondola lift.The footpath from the lake to the village is closed in winter!
Approach
By car via Spiez - Frutigen or by car train from Goppenstein to Kandersteg.
Public Transport
The Lötschberg to the south, the Kandertal to the north: this station between Brig (38 min.) and Bern (61 min.) has hourly intervals - an ideal base for many excursions.
Parking
The destination is set, and so is the parking space - on this map, drivers can quickly and easily find the right parking option in the Oberland municipality.
